St Marys Hospital, Pheonix Park

As part of the governments emergency #COVID19 response a major refurbishment of the original St Mary’s Hospital building in the Pheonix Park was commissioned in 2020.

St Marys Hospital Pheonix Park

The building has a fascinating history dating back to 1771 when it was erected as the Royal Hibernian Military with the aim of educating orphaned children of British Military forces.
The thick stone walls may have been suitable for educating orphans, but were not so suitable for the wireless nurse call system that was in situ which struggled to provide a reliable signal.

Synergy Medical, Schrack Seconet Visocall IP was selected as the new call system with Cableflow Medicol selected as the medical supply units.
We also provided bedhead lighting in eth form of a Cableflow Wave, controlled via the patient handset.
Additionally we also provided the building with a state of art Securewatch Ip Wander system to ensure the safety of vulnerable patients.

The first phase of the project was handed over pre-Christmas with the 2nd phase ongoing.
