Limerick University Hospital Renal & Emergency Department
The new Emergency Department has 50 single treatment rooms for patients providing improved isolation facilities with increased privacy and is designed to improve patient flow and decrease the amount of time patients spend in the department.
The new 6, 800m2 2-Storey Building has a 2-Storey underground car park with provision for a further 3-Floor Extension. The Emergency Department has 29 standard treatment rooms, 6 Minor Treatment Roms and 3 major treatment cubicles. The Renal/Haemodialysis Unit has 20 Standard Dialysis treatment rooms, 4 isolation suites and 4 CAPD treatments spaces.
Synergy Medical Systems supplied Cableflow Renal Medical Supply Units, Derungs Medical Lighting and Cableflow Medical Rail products.
