Oncology rehabilitation centre in Austria

Digitisation of the Health Sector
Digitisation can increase process efficiency and the quality of treatment in hospitals, while reducing the amount of documentation at the same time.
Soon, digital solutions must be controlled and promoted sensibly. A central, long-term goal here is the idea of a paperless hospital, while further focuses are the digitisation of the complete patient file (e-temperature chart) and the digital incorporation of resident physicians.
However, important steps need to be taken along the way. Successful digitisation calls for processes that are highly standardised from start to finish.
In many Austrian hospitals, standardisation is currently limited to sub-processes or is aimed at the path of medical treatment without considering administrative activities such as resource planning and accounting.
